Zoe Saldana in competition with leading ladies

Zoe Saldana says competition between leading ladies for the top roles in Hollywood has never been fiercer.
The 31-year-old star claims good roles for women are so rare that actresses are willing to do almost anything to beat their rivals.
“It is hard to find good roles especially for women,” says Zoe. “Whenever you have a good script you have all these actresses coming out wanting kill each other for the part. It’s very competitive.”
Zoe recently admitted she came close to a mental breakdown after appearing in Avatar.
“The year after Avatar was just emotionally overwhelming. I was traveling all over the world, waking up in different time zones,” she said.
“Your body gets exhausted and by the end of the year I just collapsed. I was sitting in my hotel room and I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t stay awake. I must have slept for an entire month.”
