Sarah Michelle Gellar stressed out by Air travel

Sarah Michelle Gellar says she may never had made a TV comeback had it not been for the stress of air travel on her young family.
The former Buffy star says she and husband Freddie Prinze Jnr planned to bring up their daughter, Charlotte, in New York with occasional trips to LA. But when that plan didn’t agree with their two-year-old tot, Sarah opted to stay in LA and take a role on new show Ringer.
“I had moved back to New York which was my home where I grew up, and I had been going back and forth,” explains Sarah, 34.
“When I had the baby, my husband was on 24 so we were based in LA. I think in our minds we had this idea that we could live this great nomadic lifestyle with the baby and fly back and forth. And then you take one airplane ride and you’re like, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to work.’ So ultimately we had to make a decision and we decided to give it a shot in LA. Part of the deal was doing Ringer here.”
Sarah has previously admitted her daughter is the reason she’s returning to TV.
“Once I had my daughter, I realized that I was done living the romantic lifestyle of movies, and although it works for some actors, I want to be home,” she said. “I want to put her to bed and get up with her in the morning, and I want to be there for her first day of school. And nothing offers that more than television. And what’s been so interesting for me getting back into it was I didn’t realize how much I missed it, how much I missed the excitement of getting the new episode and doing something different and seeing the same people and the family environment.
“I think if I hadn’t had the time away, I wouldn’t have been able to appreciate the experience that I’m appreciating now.”
