Beyoncé is pregnant

Beyoncé has announced that she is pregnant.
The urban singer told reporters at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night that she is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z.
Beyoncé - dressed in a flowing orange gown and sporting a noticeable baby bump - declared: "I have a surprise!" The star's rep later confirmed the pregnancy to US Weekly.
At the end of her performance of 'Love on Top' during the show, Beyoncé unzipped the jacket she was wearing and rubbed her stomach as the crowd cheered in support.
"Tonight, I want you to stand up on your feet," she told the audience. "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside me!"
Earlier this month, the star said in an interview that she is ready to "dedicate" herself to raising a child.
"When you're young -18 or 19 - you have the energy and drive. That's the time to work as hard as you can," she said.
"Now I'm a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children."
Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles has also spoken of her desire to become a grandparent, adding that she believes her daughter and Jay-Z will "make great parents".
