Anne Hathaway happy for Catwoman role

Anne Hathaway feels lucky to even wearing the much criticised Catwoman suit in Batman sequel Dark Knight Rises.
Despite her A-list status, the sexy Devil Wears Prada star had to endure a grueling audition process before she was finally chosen as the Caped Crusader’s feline foe in director Chris Nolan‘s latest movie.
“Chris met with a bunch of girls. Then he culled the list down three and a half months later to do screen tests,” explains Anne.
“So everyone with XX chromosomes in Hollywood was sitting on pins and needles for three and a half months. Then he screen-tested a few of us. I thought it had gone well but you never want to get your hopes up too high. So a few days later I was back in Brooklyn, my manager called me. And she goes, ‘Meow!’ I just celebrated. It was one of the best days of my life.”
